The family bake their own bread from organic wholemeal flour, make desserts without sugar as well as traditional Italian sweets, make their own Seitan and also produce a variety of natural cosmetics, mainly from home grown aloe - hand and face creams, toothpaste and anti-cellulite creams. Demonstrations and courses in these skills, and more, can be organised.
The bedrooms are cleaned thoroughly before arrival and fresh linen and towels are provided weekly.
Outside
There are extensive gardens and some lovely spots to sit, unwind and look at the view. The grounds cover 5 hectares including woods, cultivated areas and wild garden. There is an outside unheated saltwater pool with loungers, situated a little way from the house, shared with other guests that might be staying at the time. There is a small aviary and the property is also home to two dogs, cats, geese, hens and pigeons.
